Socks
I probably own a pair of socks for every season, holiday and everything else. I have approximately seventy five pairs. Most of them are Christmas, which I got a new pair of this weekend with gingerbread man on them that will match my new shirt with the gingerbread man on it. I do not own a pair of plain white socks, all of them have some kind of color, design or character on them. My friend Laurel bought me thirteen pairs last Christmas. I usually get approximately five new pairs at Christmas or on my birthday every year. My feet get so cold in the winter, so I have to wear socks all the time, thats why I love them so much.
first semester finals
This week is the last week of the first semester of freshman year. This week is going to be very stressful, just knowing all the things that I must get done before Friday. I've heard about college finals before, but never actually experienced them. I'm a little nervous about what I have in store for me. I need to get good grades on them to get A's and B's in my classes. I can't wait until everything is over, so that I can go home for Christmas. After this semester I might learn from my mistakes of procrastination and cramming and do better next semester.
Lost
Lost is my favorite TV show. It's such a good show, but it is very confusing. It's about a group of 48 people on their way to L.A. from Sydney Australia, who get stranded on a deserted island after their plane crashes. They must learn to live together, until they get rescued. They have been on the island for almost 2 months, living together trying to survive. They've met so many obstacles and still have'nt got rescued, and have accepted the fact that they will not get off the island. Instead of answering questions it actually leaves you with more, and it is very suspenseful. It's going into its fourth season right now, and I cannot wait. It is going to start in 66 days, thats how much I can't wait.
Friends
Without my friends I would have nothing. I love my friends. I've made so many new friends since I have been to school. They make fun of me for being such a child at heart, but they still love me for it. I have five really good friends from High School that I am still really close to. I feel really lucky to have traveled to many places with my friends. We traveled to Italy, Disneyworld, Canada and to the beach. I've had so many good times with them and hope there are many more. The friends I've made at school are amazing, we do everything together, eat lunch and dinner together, go to they gym, do homework, and just have fun together. I love my friends.
christmas
Every Christmas Eve I go to one of my aunts house's and Christmas day I go to my Grandmom's all day. We have a pretty big family, and my aunt from Tennessee comes home and my Uncle that lives in Florida comes back too. We only get to see them twice a year so its nice to see them. It is so much fun to be around family. Every Christmas Eve, and Christmas day we have a polyanna, where we exchange gifts with one another. I love Christmas time, the decorations, music, spirit and the gifts. I'm catholic so we go to church every Christmas and every sunday. Christmas is my favorite holiday and the best time of year I think, because we spend so much time getting ready for it, when the best part of the holiday is spending time with family.

Seeing my Best friends this weekend!
This weekend I was supposed to go home Saturday night after work and surprise my mom, but my friend who was supposed to drive us got really sick. I really wanted to go home to see my friend Laurel, and I found out that my friend from Kutztown was home too. I called my mom and I told her I was supposed to surprise her, but I couldn't. She came to pick Caitlin and I up this morning early and we drove home, only like a half hour. My friend Jen picked me up and we went to the new outlet mall that just opened near my house. It was really nice, but so crowded. I was really glad I got to spend time with her and see my friend Laurel. I'll see them again at Thanksgiving, but I really missed them.
Thanksgiving!!
Every year my Grandmother makes Thanksgiving dinner for all of us. It is so good! She makes really good mashed potatoes, homemade pumpkin pie, apple pie, turkey and so much more. Last Thanksgiving I couldn't really eat that much because I got my wisdom teeth out the week before. This year I'm so excited, because I get to go home and see all my friends, that I haven't seen in awhile. I can't wait to see everyone. I wish we didn't have classes Monday and Tuesday, so I could go home sooner.
Work sucks!
I've been working at CVS for over two years and the pay is horrible. I started off at minimum wage making $6 an hour, I never recieved a raise until about a year ago, up 25 cents. And minimum wage just went up so I get $7.15. I also just transferred to the store out here, and they give me so many hours, its ridiculous. I don't think they understand I am a college student and I have a life. I had to work on Halloween, and I was very upset. I might quit because the manager hates me, and I just got another job, and I can't manage both. I know it's money and it's better than nothing, but I hate it.
my family
I love seeing my family everytime I go home for the weekend. They are so important to me! I have three younger brothers, and a bunch of little cousins who love me, sometimes too much. I miss going to my grandmother's every Sunday to see them, but I'm really happy when I do. I live really close, so it's not hard for me to go home every once in awhile, or just for the day. I'm glad I live so close and I can't wait to go home for Thanksgiving.

college food sucks
First of all I am a very picky eater, and I don't like much food. When I first arrived at Albright, I thought for sure I would gain the freshman fifteen. As I walked in the cafeteria and saw the food choices, I knew that I wasn't. The first weekend all I had was a salad, and I was sick of them. I miss real food. I don't really miss homecooked meals because, my mom does not cook that often. I just miss eating what I want and when I want. I would rather eat in my room than the cafeteria.

independence
Everyone needs a little freedom in their life. I feel like since I've left for school I have gained a little bit more, but not entirely. I've only been here for one weekend without seeing my family. I've either gone home or my family has come up here to visit. I need more independence from them, or I am never going to be able to live on my own. I feel like I have fully engaged the college experience, because of that. People need to learn to live on their own without the constant support and help from their parents.
